Prodigal Son etching, stage 1

I did an etching of The Prodigal Son, and here is the first stage, just the lines. (The final piece has alot more tonal areas). I scanned this in a while ago and thought I'd put it up. As you'll notice, the border in the etching is alot more involved and intricate than the color digital version.

I saw this in the office of my daughter’s Principal (Mr Simmons, Athens Tn). I fell in love with it instantly. What a beautiful work!
